FAQ
Fountain Point Resort in Lake Leelanau, Michigan is a 30min drive from Cherry Capital Airport (TVC) in Traverse City. Rental cars are available at the airport. Ride shares may be limited, especially if flying in late, so we recommend scheduling a ride in advance. If you're doing a road trip, the resort is a 6hr drive from Chicago and an 8hr drive from Cincinnati.
Check out our lodging page to see which cabins are available for the Friday and Saturday of our wedding weekend. Reservations will be made directly through the couple, so please reach out to Julie or Will confirm your booking or email iversyoung@gmail.com. Payments will also go through the couple and can be accepted via Venmo or Zelle.If you'd like to arrive early or stay a few days late at Fountain Point, reservations can be made here.
While we'd love to have you stay with us for the weekend, you're welcome to lodge elsewhere. There are plenty of rental options in the area and larger hotels in Traverse City. We recommend booking as soon as possible.
For our reception on Saturday evening, we ask that guests wear cocktail or formal attire. Keep in mind that this will be a tented outdoor event, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes and keeping an eye on the weather.For our welcome event on Friday, the attire is smart casual. This includes elevated comfortable clothes like casual dresses, shirts, jackets, and jeans.Weather in Northern Michigan in September can range from 60 - 80° during the day and 40 - 60° at night. If the forecast looks nice, don't forget to bring swimwear!

Yes! Please let us know if you're planning on bringing your whole family when you RSVP. Unfortunately, Fountain Point cannot accommodate pets, so if you plan on traveling with a furry friend, we recommend staying off-site somewhere nearby.
